Whoops... I thought the initial comment was related to another screenshot I took later (after I switched to KDE).
The font ist Sans serif, anti aliasing is enabled. The theme is a modified chultain if I remember correctly.

I'm using KDE 3.4 with taskbar v2 (enabling transparent taskbar buttons) and that's about it. gentoo is the distribution of my choice.
