Thinking quickly you moved your head just in time knife missing you by mere millimeters. Standing there you stare at the knife that is still swaying slightly from the force of the impact.
"Poppet it's no fun if you move" Artie laughed with a grin on his face, Artie shoves you into the wall and grabs your face with his hands.
"You have such beautiful skin did you know that?" he whispered with a faraway look in his eyes, while stroking the right side of you face. "Just like silk" you looked at him with a wide eyed expression 'what the hell just happened?' you think 'what happened to the guy who was trying to kill you a moment ago?'
"I wonder if it's just as easy to cut." Artie said his eyes focusing again. 'Oh there he is' you think sarcastically. His hands left your face only to grasp the knife stuck in the wall and pull it out. Seeing this you try to move away, but his free hand grabs your face to keep it still. Artie brings the knife to your cheek and presses down drawing blood immediately. "So beautiful." Artie croons in mesmerized tone as he watches in fascination as your blood drip down to your chin and onto the floor. Losing his grip on the knife as he is absorbed by what he has done to you.
"Get off me!" you half yell with panic clearly in your voice. Heart in your throat you knock his hand away and the knife goes flying to hit the floor and with a clatter skids to a corner across the room, the hand that was still gripping your face tightened painfully.
"That was a very naughty thing to do, Love" Artie growled his eyes flashing with anger.
"I said get off me" this time you are able to express it with conviction, simultaneously using the heel of you hand to hit his solar plexus. He yelps in pain and let go allowing you to push him away and run down the hall. Running at full speed to the front door you are stopped in the process of opening it because it is locked. Next you check the window that you came in and just as you reach the window it slams shut and locks by itself. Panicking you run to all the windows and find they are all locked. You hear Artie's footsteps coming down the hall and in a blind run you dive behind the sofa just as he enters the room. Artie didn't even hesitate to come over to the sofa and peer over the back expectantly.
"[name] darling you know you're extremely easy to follow with that cut on your perfect face." he said in a matter of fact tone while looking over the edge of the sofa. Jumping up you grab the knives that are strapped to your thighs just as he leaps over the sofa and attacks you with his knife, barely being able to block the attack with your own knives, forgetting to watch his other hand which came up to punch you in the stomach. This action causing all your breath to leave your body and forces you to stumble back a few steps and regain your balance as he came after you again. You dodged the knife by stepping to the side and wait for the second attack, his fist comes at you almost as quickly as the first one. Blocking the punch at the last minute and managed to land one of your own. Taking your knife you sliced him across his chest ripping his shirt and leaving a deep cut behind and with an encore move tossed in, you kicked him in the knee and he went down. He had a surprised look on his face which turned into amusement. He started laughing like a maniac, before he could break out in song or something you ran out of the room. Remembering what he said about the cut on your cheek, you wipe off your chin and keep a hand on your cheek to stop the blood as you're running down the hall finding every door you try locked. Heart pounding knowing you have two options left; the kitchen or upstairs, picking the kitchen because the upstairs was the last place you want to trap yourself. You ran to the far side of the kitchen to the only other door that led outside but that was also locked. Thoughts are clamoring in your head 'Crap what do I do now?!' is being screamed louder than the rest of the thoughts. There is a pantry that you are unable to get into even if the desire to do so was there, which you didn't because it would be easy for Artie to lock you in. Finally you do the last thing anyone in their right mind would do, you go up the stairs.
"YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM ME POPPET! I WILL FIND YOU!!!" Artie screams in a hysterical sing song voice.
