BOOYA! Soul Calibur 2 fanart! Hmm.. The shading and the background took me an entire day (especially those cherry blossoms! ARGH), and I think Mitsurugi by himself took me a couple of hours.I referenced everything from the game.

Man, that samurai is one of my best characters, alongside Link and Sophitia. But neither of them come even close when it comes to the sheer badass factor. In that, Mitsurugi is unmatched.
Anyway, this pic is incredible. The cherry tree is amazing, and you got Mitsurugi perfectly. Stellar work. One question, though: what do the characters on the right mean? I'm not very good at kanji.

Well, umm.. the characters on the right are in Mandarin Chinese I think... I ripped it from the Shaman King manga in Shonen Jump, because it was the only thing that looked cool.

Awesome work keep it up! SC2 is my favourite game, i personally suck with mitsurugi compared to when i use ivy , nightmare and seung mina heh, i can kick alot of ass with them
