Blaze in the midst of battle! Blaze has a raging tiger spirit inside of her which personifies her hot-blooded nature. It sometimes manifests in her fireball aura during fights, and especially as injuries mount and she gets even more angry. The stripes of the tiger are burning with licks of fire shooting forth as a metaphor, because the stripes are the injuries which provokes her flames. Maybe it's proof that Blaze is part tiger somewhere in her lineage? 🤔

Also, I stole the Tiger Spirit concept from Jago from Killer Instinct. 🤣

I will have to be careful that it doesn’t resemble Naruto’s nine-tailed beast too much. The tiger is a personification of Blaze’s indignation so I hope that’s enough to set it apart. Whereas in Naruto it’s a separate entity within him.

This might foreshadow a special attack in the future. In this scene it's purely aesthetic. Perhaps one day she learns to hone a pouncing tiger attack?
