There are a couple things I think are wrong with it -
The eyes are, I think, a tiny bit too small (not enough to really make it look too weird though I think)
I also made the hair just lazy (I have ZERO patience for hair strands)
Also, I made the drawing too much bigger than the original and that made drawing some things more difficult in general.
It was fun though
If anyone hasn't seen the new X-Men movie btw I highly recommend it (I know of some picky die-hard comic book fanatics who absolutely hated it, but I thought it was awesome ... heh )

Haha, I did this same photo in a pencil portrait as well...and I'm with you on the no patience for hair thing...I didn't take my time on the hair in mine either, for some reason I just can't do it...it takes too long and it's too borring! LOL This looks good, it's interesting to see it without the black background.

Merf. I think that they got too trigger happy with the special effects, and the lead-on to the sequel was just plain last-second-kinda-thing. Bleagh.
On the other hand, I think that the facial structure of your subject looks a little to delicate than what Jackman's actual face looks like.
Overall, it still looks hot enough to be him, so I wouldn't worry too much!

I'll probably do more of these - I'm working on a digital painting that's probably going to take a while (if it ever comes out right at all), and some straight forward pencil work is great for breaking things up a bit (My biggest problem though is just that I end up getting impatient when I'm just trying to copy something :/

I always find protraits tricky. I think I know only 1 person who does then really accurately. You'll lok at her stuff, know exactly who it is and won't find anything "off" about the picture >.>

I plan on going to see that movie soon! I hear good things, though I also hear something about a missing charactor...hmmm, I will see it eventually. lol. Now then, onto this lovely drawing! I would agree that the eyes look a bit small ish, compared to the rest of his face, and the hair, welll it isn't that bad. Far better then anything I would have the time and effort put into. But that is only because I am really lazy. lol. I love this one all the same!

I wondered about the character a couple times, but it didn't bother me through the whole movie at the time since the story was interesting and it went at a good pace. I would have rathered he was still in it though - sucks that he went missing. Anyway - thanks for commenting
