More characters for TNT!One of them is not like the others...
Matt is Owen Lytle's son- you saw him in an earlier set with William. Normally I draw families together, but I didn't know Matt was going to be a character at that point. Anyway, acne has a tendency to run in the family so Matt has it too. :>
Just going to say this now- you guys are going to love Matt. LOVE HIM. He's recycled from the same old fan fiction as Sam was and they were bros there and he will actually be in a side comic in Sinnoh for The Fall because I adore this nerd.
And I have no self control
Also there was originally going to be another character between Matt and "Taxama" but I ended up cutting him out so that's why this particular set is kind of laid out awkwardly.
"Taxama" is the word for "chief" in among her tribe (based on the Yanomamo Indians in the Amazon Rainforest) and one of the interesting things about them is a taboo on calling people by their names (especiallyΒ the dead). I'm going to run with that idea for a few reasons; it's reallyΒ interesting, it fits in with my world building reallyΒ well, and it means that I don't have to butcher making up a name.
It's a very graceful cop-out, basically. X"D

I'm really curious about the workings of Taxama's tribe now, actually. If people don't call each other by their names, do they have a strong belief in the power of true names? Cop-outs that lead to fun culturebuilding are the best cop-outs XD

I still have to look into it more but I think they call each other by, like, "brother/sister/mother/ect" instead. But they, someone's name holds special power. They are especially not about outing someone's name to a stranger trying to research them. X"D

... I can't tell if Alex is a man or a woman, but... His/her design (the look especially) reminds me a lot of Nessa's (well, an older version at least)

And there are many other characters that could fit that description because it's a really shallow basis of comparison.

Well, and I get it and usually no one means offense when they say that... but the thing is, when you leave a comment that just mentions a vague similarity between two character with absolutely no hint to what the tone is, it sounds more like you're accusing me of copying someone else's design.
A comment like, "Alex could be Nessa's furious older sibling" or something would have made me laugh and I would have picked up on the similarities myself and it wouldn't have been a problem.
It's chill though. I just wasn't sure how to take your comment and misunderstood. It happens.

Matt is adorable and I already love him. I also love Alex's outfit, or what you show of it anyway.
Taxama looks very grandmotherly, but I just now remembered a couple of other elderly women who appeared in The Fall - Agatha, the Special Move Tutor Hermit - and now I can't help but wonder if I should be concerned.
Sergio's facial hair is amazing. There, I've said it. Also, is he a military man? Something about his outfit says military to me for some reason. :/

Alex's outfit is pretty boss, not gonna lie.
She is very grandmotherly. She's also a bit of a firecracker, but she's no Agatha or Special Move Tutor Hermit.
