"What is this?"It's a plant/fungus elemental creature, that is carrying a head of an old obsidian statue.
It's imitating an anthropomorphic form to irritate other creatures like you >D owned!
with dedication to my artmate Surthur , who is some kind of mentor - not necessarily in art but in general - and an awesome guy. I'm glad knowing him.

I'll say exactly what I said about your Bionic Giant Collab , the primary subject of the image is well detailed while at the same time sporting a nice amount of your artistic personality into the design. However, your background imagery appears as a afterthought as if you just needed a quickly done background to go with the primary character. I would suggest really putting a bit more detailing into the background design as it would properly accentuate the design of the primary subject. Don't be afraid to go that extra mile in your work.

The creature must be highly intelligent to know to pick up something like a humanoid statue to represent the head it doesn't have.
I'd love to learn more about this beast.

I likely gonna paint another one of that sort but different
more wild and strange in it appearance ;]
So basically my idea on this was like that:
The ancient race, the ancestors of the elves had some black temples out of black marble and obsidian, which where highly magical and since in the elven-woods elementals are not really rare, soon a few fungus-creatures came in touch with some broken statues, obtained the inherent magical information and kinda got the want to be one with this ancient magic.
