god, this is finally done.
a drawing reference sheet for my dearest baby, mostly for myself, but if for some unexplained reason, you want to draw her, here you are.

from left to right, you get: a reference of her back tattoo, her manacle and ring, a fullbody view at age 23, a reference of her arm tattoos and an overview of her age progression from age 6 to 21.

the numbers indicate her age at which she got the things the arrows point towards, e.g. she got her back tattoo at age 18.

weight: idk, she's average to thin, US size 10 or 12 maybe? (German 36/38)

nationality: German; her mom's mixed Croatian and Turkish, her dad's Russian with German roots

family: lived with her mother, moved out at age 18. Her parents split when she was 7. Her brother Anikej, who's 9 years older, moved with their father.

education/work: left school at age 16 (Realschule). After her abduction, she worked part-time with the local mages, full-time after her graduation. You could say she's an interdimensional smuggler, bringing goods from Earth to other worlds and back. In her free time, she sews clothes and makes handmade jewelry, which she sells on the Internet.

blemishes: scar on her left thigh (caused by flying metal cone), scars on her right cheek and left arm (fingernail scratches fang marks made by zombies), scar under her right breast (sharp rock). Due to the scar tissue in her face and exposure to supernatural radiation, her eyes twitch sometimes, and at points, she has trouble focussing.

Story and character

After the divorce of her parents and her brother's move at age 7, she shut herself off and isolated herself. She had few friends and had problems forming relationships due to her depression and her abrasive and arrogant personality. During her abduction at age 13, she was bodily and mentally scarred and developed volatile and manic tendencies. She tried to seperate herself into a nice, caring front and an "inner" self which was supposed to be ruthless, self-centered and uncaring. Gradually, she noticed that this didn't work and she developed a friendship of some sort with the witch Pili (by Eelea ). After she got sent home, she fell into the magic crowd and made some friends. She still has problems trusting people and views people as objects to be used first, but she tries to get out of that mindset. She easily slips into personas tailored to her needs, to manipulate people. Her "real" self fluctuates between overly confident and self-hatred. She's good at conversation and convincing people. She's got some symptoms of PTSD, having an exaggerated fear of spiders and big dogs. She also has bad dreams, trouble sleeping in environments she's not used to and is triggered by all things wedding and marriage-related.

She loves fashion, shopping and clothes. She isn't really into music or books (she sometimes listens to the top 40, and has read some popular YA novels). She is be easily entertained by brainless action flicks and kids cartoons.

Relationships

Family:

Mother (Yasmin): good relationship, a bit distant since her mother works all day. They used to watch Star Trek marathons on weekends.
Father (Swjatoslaw): distant, polite
Brother (Anikej): they were very close before the divorce, but he decided to move with his father. Mavi broke off all contact and constructed some sort of ideal version of him in her head and fled into daydreams. After she returned, she rekindled the relationship and they regularly skype.

Friends and coworkers:

Tara: her very first "normal" friend. She isn't involved in magic (or is she?) and they do normal friend stuff together. They have been flatmates since they graduated and moved out. They keep secrets from each other.
Levent: She used to mistrust him, but they became friends after some time. He became her best friend and they are pretty much forged together by now, telling each other almost everything.
Lan: her "employer". She recognizes her power and rarely objects to her missions.
Gjendine: they love to hate each other, deeply.
Pili: first real friend she made ♥

Seir: since he rarely talks, they just like to be in each other's presence, in silence.

Powers

Telekinesis, strengthened and channelled by her arm tattoos, given to her by the witch Pili (by Eelea ). The extra tattoos she got at age 18 allow higher precision work (the smaller squiggle), greater distance and speed (the dots) and the ability to lift heavier stuff (the framing bands).

interdimensional transportation / teleportation: is able to cross over to other worlds and places, but only to those where she spilt blood and therefore bonded to the ground. This power is extremely volatile and leaves her exhausted and magic-less for a longer duration.
Her back tattoo stabilizes this ability and lets her cross over more easily; in addition, she can cross over to worlds she hasn't visited yet, but with the same withdrawals as before. The tatoo binds her to the demon Seir who makes these additional powers possible.

Accessories

Right hand: A ring, imbued with illusionary powers, given to her by the witch Sinister (by Ukikun ). When worn, it conceals her scars and tattoos to people with untrained eyes.

Left hand: A manacle that chained her to her "husband" Hedj-Hotep (by Hannes, who once had a dA account which I seem to have misplaced. but oh well). On her first stabilized trip to another dimension (the rock and spiders one), she picked it up and wears it as some sort of keepsake. Since it was powered by magic and her bond to Hedj was lost, she can take it off easily.
