Description This was the final project for my artish class last semester. The idea was to showcase three different perspectives of one individual viewing a similar scene at different times in their life (hence why I chose to make it a triptych). The top image represents the infant stage perspective (blurriness; lack of definition; completely devoid of the colour blue, which infants apparently can't see; the mother's face being the most detailed part as it's the most interesting to a baby). The middle image represents an older stage of childhood (notice the various faces and "monsters" scattered throughout - ahh, childhood). The last image is an adult perspective (cooler and more neutral colours that insinuate realism; no fantasy imagery). It took three days to complete (perhaps more or less, I can't remember XD ). I'm fairly satisfied with how it came out, although I do have a few complaints (perspective's a bit off, some of the colours are icky, etc.). Painted using acrylics on watercolour cold press paper.

I really love your idea behind this. When pictures have complex concepts and feelings behind them, it always makes an already beautiful work even more beautiful and poignant. Great job. I hope you got an awesome grade for this project!
