Lolwut, yes, this is ink. xD The ink that... comes in a bottle. And in a variety of colors!
A couple of the colors were metallic (thus that really shiny blue--it became kind of powdery in places)...
Come to think of it, some of it might have also been the kind of paint used for airbrushing... I can't really remember. I just kind of wreaked havoc with what I found in the box Mr. O gave me. :]

How did the microwave come into play? XD
Lovely contrast in colors. :3

When the ink was still wet and very liquid-y with water, I put plastic wrap over it and just... stuck it in Opstad's microwave. It was a technique I saw in a mixed-media suggestion book and thought it looked cool, although it never worked the way it worked the way it showed... xD Sticking it in the freezer was much cooler, actually. I'll submit one with that effect, although it's just some abstract colors and not actually a picture (..yet. I might be using it as a background for a piece that will be a gift to my piano teacher).
Thank you. : D

Hahaha. It might have if I kept it in too long... WHO KNOWS. =O
But then again, this is Opstad's ancient microwave we're talking about... so maybe not. xD
