Description I love this anime, I love it so much, so many tears ;w;
One of the most beautiful anime I have ever seen, so I wanted to do a fanart with this

While I watched this, Misuzu quickly developed into one of my most beloved heroines, so yes, I just love Air too much

This turned out really nice. If I were a fan of the anime, which after this I'll have to check out, I'd so want to download this as a wallpaper. You did really well with the textures and depth of her clothes and hair. The bird isn't as well done as the girl is but it's still not too bad. Animals are hard, and birds I find particularly so. Anyway, very nice job! I'll have to go see if I can find that anime now.

Thank you very much!
Have you looked up the anime yet? If yes and if you are going to watch, I would love to hear your thoughts on it

You're very welcome!
I did look it up and found that Netflix has it. I've added it to our queue. I'll let you know what I think once we've watched it. The synopsis sounds cool though.

Then I'll look forward to your reaction
I have a male friend who admits that it was the one of the few movies/series that made him cry And indeed, I also love the story a lot

Oh dear I'll probably blubber then. I'm a guy who doesn't mind showing emotions and sometimes gets emotional easy. To give you a clue, I sobbed the first two times I watched Titanic. Of course I was a hormonal teen then with sever depression...but yeah I totally sobbed in the theater.

I think it's pretty nice that you show emotions so much
I mean, there are so many others who just pretend to be tough and cool and I don't like that about most at all. Stay true to yourself!
To be honest, I never watched Titanic xD We had the old video cassette at home but when I watched it with some friends, we were like seven and so everyone of us thought of it as boring

Yeah, it's kind of dumb how most think that showing emotions is 'unmanly'. But then I do lots of things that are considered 'unmanly', like crochet.
I have still VHS tape, and I saw it in theaters several times. I was still in high school when it was in theaters. Not only was it a good excuse to get off campus, I was at a boarding school at the time, but being a hopeless romantic and all I couldn't resist the love story...though the thing that really drew me to the movie was the historical aspect of it. I can totally see how a group of 7 year olds would find it boring. Definitely not a kids movie. LOL

Oh but there are also a few men who do crochet!
But yes, I know what you mean, there are just too many things that we have stereotypes for. But if it gets to that, I'm not really female either At least I hate shopping and I'm not that neat
That's why I never finished the movie. It left such an impact on my childhood and that's why it will always seem boring to me No, I'm not exaggerating at all xD

akibara13 In reply to AeternusVotum [2013-04-27 01:24:07 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, there are some. And I'm one of them. LOL Most of the time I'm the typical guy and like to get in and out of a store but occasionally I actually don't mind shopping. It depends on what we're shopping for of course too. It's odd how society in general can't seem to stop thinking in terms of stereotypes or blanket statements. One of the most common in my case is the "are you blind?" question. When I answer, "I'm visually impaired" most people will get confused and ask what that means. Then inevitably they'll asked, "so what can you see?" And that's a loaded question. There's no really definite answer for it. There are too many variables. Some of which are to do with lighting, color contrast, and how large of an object I'm looking at. In terms visual acuity I'm 20/400 and correction isn't possible at this time. So a little example... Say I'm folding laundry on the bed with a pastel blue bed spread and I'm looking for a light green sock. Most likely I wouldn't be able to tell the sock was there because the shades are too similar. But say it were a hot pink sock, then it would be plenty visible against the bed spread. If I'm out side, it makes a big difference weather it's sunny or not. My eyes are very light sensitive so lots of sun makes it really hard, even with contrasting colors to see stuff. So yeah, it's very hard to answer that question in a simple way and what I put here is just the tip of the iceberg. And no two visually impaired people have the same issues either. It depends first on the eye condition and then the severity of the eye condition and then all of the little variables that makes a person an individual. My mom and I, for example, have the same eye condition and a lot of what we can and can't see is similar but there are a few differences on what helps and what doesn't. So yeah, stereotypes and blanket statements have always been a pet peeve of mine.

I can totally understand why it annoys you in that way! Sometimes things just can't be explained in a short way and there are so many other things to look out for, so stereotypes just don't help at all
And yet, sometimes it can be pretty hard to overcome some stereotypes

akibara13 In reply to AeternusVotum [2013-05-06 05:46:03 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, exactly! And as against stereotypes as I am, I sometimes find myself putting people neatly into boxes. I guess it's just part of the human condition to think of people in terms of labels.

Indeed, I think it's a trait that everyone has. You can train to make it less and try your best to not categorize people but I really think that it happens very naturally how we sometimes judge people
