You mixed the two mediums really well. What did you use for the color?

Thanks! The griffin outline is ink, and it's colored with colored pencil. My scanner doesn't play nice with yellows and golds, so it's fairly washed out looking here compared to the original.

Oooo beautiful! I love the style of griffin and the curling feathers. Very alive but reminiscent of old school heraldry. Awesome!

Thanks! There was definitely old school heraldry/book ornamentation influence in this - the entire website this griffin goes with is all old-timey.

Thanks! I'm usually super lazy when it comes to drawing wings, but I had fun on the stylized feathers on this guy.
