So, here you have the reason why you haven't heard (or better, seen) anything from me in a little while xDA month ago or so I realized that, until now, I have not drawn a single picture of Ike and Soren, my OTP from Fire Emblem, and so the idea was born! I got me some inspiration from the official FE Awakening artworks, since I don't like the game thaaaaaaat much, but the art is so damn good, people who are into FE probably notice the similarities...
So, what else to say?
I am totally, totally and trulyΒ in love with this one, but the sketch has been a total b*tch. It took me EIGHT HOURS to do it, and another like 12837848378 hours to complete the rest of it... jkloqbcjkKJKGHASF.
Oh, and did anyone notice that the background actually resembles the landscape where Ike is wandering aroundΒ at the end of the Radiant Dawn intro? Because it's totally that one xD
Also, I reduced Ikes outfit a bit, since it's so damn complex :3
full view would help, because, Ike and Soren are kinda small...

Well, Ike and Soren ARE really close, and there are a lot of things that could be interpreted as hints for a romantic relationship between these two... But that is just my opinion, and since it's not TRULY canon, we could discuss for hours xDD

This is so beautiful that I don't even have enough words... I am so jealous of your scenery skills ohhh gosh this is amazing. You aced the lighting, and the composition is just lovely and the whole thing flows so well... and I love the movement of their clothing!
Also yes. OTP. They're actually like, my OTP of all OTPs? Or one of them because it's absolutely impossible to choose an OTP that rules over all your ships in every fandom you're in, but like, Ike/Soren competes for the top of my list constantly ;____; I LOVE THEM SO MUCH UGH THEY ARE MEANT TO BE HELP
And I'm replaying PoR right now so thIS IS REALLY RIGHT IN THE FEELS

The lighting really was so much fun, I think pictures always turn out better the more fun you actually have working on them. It's just SUNSETS XDD Oh yeah, I really spent much time working on the clothing, sometimes the right feeling for it just won't come XD
I also wonder from time to time who is actually my REAL OTP, but I always kinda have the same thoughts like you, because there are so many awesome and cute and blabla pairings, but OMG THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD THAT COMPARES TO THEM! o.O
I should really Play PoR again, too xD

I knowww Soren and Ike have so much chemistry between them and I just cry when I play PoR because like ALL the characters are so 3dimensional and just amazing? I haven't gotten to play recently but I'm almost at the part where Naesala shows up xDDD BIRDIE LAGUZZZZ ;____; attacking my boaattt

Yeah, until I have not truly found my completely unique style or something, I really try to keep it a little close to the FE-style, because These artists are just awesome!
