Yeah, after playing Ace Attorney Investigations, I found myself leaning away from the pairing as a romantic one, but they definitely care for each other a lot, and their relationship is still awesome.

I'm currently playing through the third game (I totally managed the fourth case without using a guide.. sure had to reset a lot of times..) but they really don't make a secret out of that Diego/Godot thing.. I mean, the name took me a few minutes, but still.
And WTF Dahlia = nun? God I hope she has a f*cking good reason. Not that Phoenix would return to her... he is full on EDGE FAN. Or that's me.
So I still gotta play Invest... kinda went on a tangent here.

Lol don't worry, there is an explanation for the nun thing. But yes, I highly recommend Investigations. At the end of the day, Miles Edgeworth is my favorite attorney. Not to mention the sprites look so awesome.

I currently am playing through that case where Edgey is Iris' attorney... poor guy, what doesn't he do for Phoenix?
Although I stared at Iris and suddenly had an epiphany regarding how this all plays out. If I am right, I have some questions regarding the channeling technique rules...
I love Edgey. He's so... queer and all. But what is with that fuchsia jacket? It makes him look fat! (Now that decorated fuchsia coat in Case 3-4 ... THAT looked good on him!)

Haha yeah I loved playing that part where you play as Edgey. It's awesome hearing his inner thoughts. XD

Well, my theory was semi-correct. But the ending was kind of.... the last case is always so annoyingly long! It was like Case 2-4 with Engarde where I yelled at Phoenix to "F*CK MAYA AND GUILT THAT F*CKER'S ASS ALREADY!!" because it just kept going and going...!
Same with this one. It took them HOURS to figure out what I had figured out during the first third of the case. Seriously, if a spirit medium, known for channeling, is not findable in the place she was last... either means she has killed herself or is walking around channelling someone.
But that really pissed me off with the sudden SURPRISE TWIN plot shoved in. Come on... how boring. It feels like they just randomly pulled that out of their asses 2 minutes before deadline on Friday. We were never told anything about Morgan and a second marriage or anything... and that whole thing with the letter makes no sense to me.

Haha yeah a lot of people complained about the twin thing, and the letter thing. It's like, why not just freakin' hide the letter so it's never found? >_> Ah well, I still enjoyed it despite the iffy end to the trilogy.

I wouldn't have minded the twin thing on it's own. But saying that Dahlia and Iris are not only twins, but also Morgan's first marriage's daughters and all that... really, a total ass-pull. It's like they suddenly thought of that, to somehow create a connection between Dahlia and how this would somehow have something to do with the Kurain Channeling.

And the letter... well, short version of a different post: How could the plan be made up A YEAR AGO if it never came into fruition until TWO MONTHS PRIOR to that case?

Funny you should mention that, I'm currently in Case 5 of AA: Investigations and I've been really itching to do some fan arts for it. That game is LOVE. Thanks for the , I hope I can get something up for Miles and Franzy soon! They're so cute in this game! XD

It just IS love!! The only problem I have with it, really, rests in a few contradictions with ages (Ema was listed as eighteen when she should have been twenty by this point, and Franziska was listed as nineteen when she should have been twenty due to being the same age as Maya and Ema and being seven years younger than Edgeworth and three years older than Kay) and the fact that they flat out refuse to call Phoenix by his name (would a name drop hurt Capcom that much?!), but those two things aren't enough to stop me from ADORING the game. I definitely love it worlds more than Apollo Justice. Definitely.

Oh yes, me too. If it's not painfully obvious already, I love Edgeworth more than Phoenix, so this game is much higher on my fave list than AJ. As for the birthday thing, I guess we can only assume that Capcom had a specific date in mind, so for example, it wasn't Franziska's birthday yet over the course of the year so she would still be 19, while Kay and Ema already had their birthdays... or something like that haha. I also agree about the Phoenix thing, but I suspected as much when I started the game haha. At least he gets a specific mention. In AJ, Phoenix referenced only Mia and vaguely Maya.

Well, apparently Ema hasn't had birthdays in two years, haha. Maybe she was born on Leap Year! Yeah, that totally makes legit sense. Haha, well, it doesn't really affect the game, so it doesn't bother me too much.

And I know! I was SO upset when Edgeworth was just completely ignored in AJ! Then again, the entire "Phoenix gets disbarred" thing was a bit unbelievable to me, if we're going to be completely honest. I mean, I know forged evidence is serious business and IIRC, Klavier had definitive proof that Phoenix's evidence was forged, but I just feel like Phoenix would have had enough people helping him to figure out what happened that the seven year gap shouldn't have happened. I mean, the Judge knew Phoenix was honorable, and whatever happened to Edgeworth and Maya and Franziska and everyone else? NOT TO MENTION GUMSHOE! I mean, in that flashback case, he was acting downright antagonistic to Phoenix, and they were practically BFFLs by the end of T&T. Then again, he wasn't the only one acting OoC; what was up with Phoenix mocking Klavier for being a rookie? What, did he suddenly become a spirit medium and channel Winston Payne (ignoring the fact that Payne isn't dead)? Phoenix is such a foolish fool that he would never have the right to mock ANYONE for being a newbie, much less the personality to do so. Argh! It just bothered me SO MUCH!

. . . Yeah, I'm just not a big AJ fan, haha. Much as I liked Klavier and Trucy (they were my favorites out of the new characters), I just had way too many issues with it to really like it too much. IMO, if they wanted a new defense attorney, they should have just made the game take place somewhere else and cut all ties to Phoenix & CO., leaving Phoenix to be an attorney with all his buds down in LA (I'm pretty sure the Western games take place in LA, anyway), and taken Apollo up on his story deal somewhere else. >< Because by making Phoenix and Gumshoe act so OoC (and disbarring Phoenix afjdsla) and by just cutting everyone else out completely (Edgeworth, Maya, Pearl, Larry -- like, the MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN PHOENIX'S LIFE I MEAN COME ON CAPCOM), it just seemed like a HUGE disservice. :/

. . . And I'll stop ranting at you now, hahaha. Sorry.
