So I've been watching Torchwood, and I just needed to make one of these. Actually, I made a couple. But I liked this one best.I realise this would have been a very appropriate submission for deviantart's pride week. But better late than never, right?

Torchwood is a spin-off series with the character Jack Harkness, who first appeared on Doctor Who. It's a sci-fi series about a secret organisation that, well, for all intents and purposes, fights aliens. It's fun.

Now I ask you a question I've been asking myself for quite some time......WHAT the HELL is NORMAL anyway!!!Whatever your definition of NORMAL is, I don't think I want to know.Mostly because Most NORMAL people scare the piss out of me.So to me being an

Normal is relative, I think. I have also been classified as a freak most of my life, mainly because I haven't ever been a part of the "in-crowd", or those people who, perhaps regardless of the definition of the word, tend to classify themselves as "normal". I think that being a part of the world is important, but it is also vital to be your own person. And when you do try to define yourself by your own standards instead of those standards accepted by society, if you try to be original, different, you often to become classified as a "freak" or "abnormal" or "weird".
I must confess I'm not entirely certain what you were trying to say with your comment, but I think that, regardless of how you, personally, would like to be classified, most people would not consider it OK to be termed an "abomination" due to their sexual orientation. That is what this motivational poster is about. It is about acceptance, and appreciation of differences, here specifically different sexual orientations.

I have never seen an episode of Torchwood but I have seen many clps on youtube...and this scene I have seen and it melts my heart when Jack asks Jack to dance with him....so sweet and touching but also very sad....

Alright, I think I might try. Considering that it is an offshoot of Doctor Who and I'm pretty sure that DW is on Channel 50 (Space; I'm Canadian, so yeah...), it is probably also there or somewhere else.

Yeah, there's the whole man + woman = baby thing. And yes, a lot of people dislike homosexuality for religious reasons. But, for one thing, just because something isn't strictly "orthodox" doesn't make it bad. And, secondly, religion's no excuse. It's possible to be religious and pro-gay. I am. So people need to get those sticks out of their butts and get with the program. Because we all need to accept each other for what we are. And gay love is just as beautiful, and just as valid, as straight love.
