_____ stepped through door number 10 and was greeted with a harsh blow of the icy bitter winds of the Norwegian coastline.

"Holy crap I am not dressed for this weather!" ____ exclaimed as the winds sunk into ____ to the very bone, causing a near hypothermia reaction instantly.

"I will die if I do not find warmth soon" ___ thought as he/she scanned the land for any sign of life.

Faintly in the far off distance ___ saw the faint orange glow of what looked like a fire, as instincts kicked in _____ sprinted as fast as Her/his legs would carry them.

About 50 yards from the warm beacon ____ noticed burly men huddled around said fire, armed with swords and grizzly looking scowls.

Suddenly frightened ____ reels back but falls straight onto his/her backside in the muddy terrain, causing one of the rakish looking men to peer up and see _____.

"Hey! You there, who are you!?" the man hollers, attracting the attention of the giant band of men who all turn to glare at ____.

Taking no time, you jump up and hightail it in the opposite direction praying to the gods that you'll be fast enough to outrun these men.

So scared and dazed you don't notice your own surroundings and that you are actually running towards a village.

You only realized that there are people surrounding you after they captured you and attempted to warm you up by the fire though still untrusting anybody, you refuse to say anything to anybody as they tend to you.

As they did you heard some of them talking, "Poor child, must've run into those Vikings" and the rebuttals of "If they are that close this imbecile could've lead them to us! How do we not know that he/she is not one of them!" not to mention "We should just kill that stranger now!".

Nonetheless they gave her new clothes, furry and thick ones at that, provided food and a place to sleep as well.

Exhausted by the day and the strange turn of events you drift off to sleep hoping to wake up in the morning in your bed, having all of this been just a strange dream.

However you were awaken in the middle of your slumber by the sounds of screams and the roaring of fire.

Alarmed, you jumped out of the cot you had been lying in and rushed out to see what the commotion was about only for you to be horror stricken by the sight that you stared upon.

The cottages that had once hosted families were now being burned down to the ground by the band of burly men that had frightened you earlier, the same man who saw you earlier locked eyes with you again in the hellish blaze.

The man smirked at you and began to make his way over to you, as you turned to flee another man caught you and held you in place.

"Lukas do you want this one?" the man holding you asked as you struggled.

"Lukas" laughed and retorted " Ah yes I do have my eye on that one, bring her back with us"

You began to scream but was knocked out by the man carrying you, blackness surrounded you and in the drifting void you could still hear the screams of the villagers as their homes were pillaged and burned to the ground.

When you came to you were in a bigger hut, a more lavishly furnished one with pelts of every animal imaginable and a roaring fire that admitted enough warmth to make you sweat.

As you admired the furnishing the man they called "Lukas" came in eyeing you with great interest.

"Ah I see you have awoken, I must say that village we stole you from had little gold but you might just make up for that" he mused as he stalked closer to the bed you laid in.

"Go away you monster!" you hissed as he drew nearer to you in an attempt you touch you.

"Ah it speaks, may I have at least your name you beautiful creature?" he asked gently as his hand stroked your leg on top of the fur blankets.

"_______" you muttered quietly as you tried to scoot away from his uncomfortably warm touch.

"No need to fear me _____, I do not wish my new wife to fear me" he chuckled as he scooted into the bed beside you.

At his words you shot up out of bed enraged, "Your wife!?How dare you assume I'd be your wife, I do not even know you!" you screeched in rage.

Lukas shot you a smile an you actually sat back a moment to appreciate his handsomeness, his long blonde hair and startling blue almost purple eyes that seemed to mock you in your anger.

He laughed again then spoke "______, you are mine , I took you and therefore I have claimed you as my wife and you cannot fight that, I am one of the most feared Viking leaders in this region and nobody can stop me even if they tried".

Enraged you reach for the first thing you could grab, which happened to be a golden chalice, and threw it at him.

He was up in a flash and in your face with a rather displeased look seeing as you had just tried to assault him.

He grabbed both your arms and held them by your sides as he molded you up against him, you struggled but Lukas growled in displeasure and you instantly stopped out of fear of this giant man.

"Little wife I will not tolerate your tantrums, you are mine and you cannot fight it' he said in a low voice as his handsome face drew closer "And I am sure you'll find much pleasure in this arrangement, by Odin I swear it"

And with that his lips sealed over yours in a fiery kiss that seared your soul, at that moment you knew you would never be free of Lukas.

At that moment, you had accepted your Viking husbands fiery claim and placed one of your own.
