Just out at the Hanalei Pier for sunset and as always have my camera with me. My friends made a comment if I was going to take any photos and hadnt planned on it. Decided to try a couple of long exposures of the pier with the warm sunset light on it. Those didnt work out so took decided to turn to the setting sun. The light beam coming in is always hypnotizing. The 10stop filter allowed me to take a 30s exposure to smooth the already flat ocean and put just a bit of motion into the clouds.Related content

Wow. I am always drawn to your photos, and this is why. There is such an undeniable beauty to each of them, and I love that so many have water as the main focus. The colours really draws the viewer into the photo. Really lovely.
