Love the loose brushtrokes and energy in the piece. The colors coordinate together wonderfully and the shading looks unique and free. I love this style and the emotions are there and... just, powerful I guess. Sometimes I'm not sure how to phrase it you know?

Oh, gosh! I can't pick an otp, haha, I have waaaaay too many ships! I pretty much ship everything, lmao. Like legitimately, I can be convinced of any pairing, at all. Although I def go through phases.
I guess lately I've been really into davejohn and johnkat (either red or pale), and also erikar recently for some reason?? Haha. But I can easily go on a ship tangent just from reading a good fic, lol. I read a really great Terezi<3Nepeta earlier from the HSO, and now I've got that on the brain!! I also multiship a lot 'cause I can't pick just one. Particularly Karkat and Dave, who I ship when with like. Everyone, hahaha. DaveTav, DaveSol, DaveEridan... I SHIP IT ALL, mwahaha. I have a different web of relationships in every AU, too, so I can fit in all my ships. =u=

actually, I think he's kind of hard to pair with people?? Like, I think he would be difficult to get along with... and that's why I like doing it?? lmfao. It's like a challenge. >D And I think they would all require kinda special circumstances to function. I was thinking the other day that Eridan/Nepeta would actually be a really interesting pair, either pale or flushed, for some of the same reasons that Equius and Nepeta work - Nepeta would be a cheerful, strong-willed force to be reckoned with and could knock Eridan over the head if he got too carried away, but would also listen well when he needed it. haha, definitely! That's one of the reasons I think he's so interesting - he definitely has the potential to be a very three-dimensional, sympathetic character, if he can get over his narcissism and racism and start paying attention to someone besides himself. :0

but... what even is friendzoning? I kind of hate that term, it's like friendship isn't good enough, so just because you have feelings the other person is obligated to return them/be intimate with you?? Fef wasn't flushed for him. It was a complete dick move on Eridan's part to try to guilt her into a matespriteship when she wasn't interested; neither of them would've been happy, Fef did the right thing. She tried really hard to be friends with him and help him, and he pretty much completely ignored her. Honestly, canon Eridan is kind of a total douche. He complains a lot and is selfish and doesn't listen to his friends. And he's kind of narcissistic and racist.
That being said, he definitely has positive traits, and if he becomes more self-aware - which I think he does after his little episode on the asteroid - he has a lot of potential to grow and become. well. not a dick, haha. And yeah, he's VERY sad and lonely, and I feel for him. But he was still a total jerk? So while I have a lot of sympathy for him and still adore his character and everything he could become, you have to admit he is kind of a huge asshole in the beginning.

true. on the other side of the spectrum, my patron troll sollux has all the girls (and in fanfic all the boys as well) he had two matesprits (unfortunatly they both die) i pair him with aradia most and for kidXtroll pairings i pair him with dave. he is a pretty cool troll with AWESOME powers!

lmfao, Sol. Ohhhh, Sol. His relationships were never confirmed in canon though, I don't think. Although fanfics seem to loooove turning him into a little slut that bangs everything with legs... Yeah, I love AraSol and DaveSol, though, those are greeaaattt pairs. I've also become interested in RoseSol lately, some really great writers have done stuff for that crackpair. I like EriSol too, but only when it's done well -- there are some really bad fics out there for that pair, haha. And I hate when people rag on Fef, she is badass. I think pretty much all the trolls have cool powers? Tav's are my favorite though, haha.

I really like pairing Jade with people that can rival her toughness though, I think she and Karkat are hilarious together (the shouting matches, omfg), and sometimes JadeRose, or JadeNepeta.
