I've been looking for a picture that really captures what I thought Ophelia looked in my head when I read Hamlet. This is totally it. Amazing work!

I LOVE the Art Nouveau feel of this. The colors are splendid and the flow of the 'water' ... is stunning!

damn, we're just reading Hamlet in my eng. lit class. and we're actually, i think, JUST before the scene where she dies. :<
i think your rendition is beautiful. something about her expression keeps drawing me back to look at her face. i think it's the peace there, the acceptance of her choice. the fact that you included all those flowers she handed out makes me smile. like she's trying to take their burden with her.

I thought this was illustrated in a vector software first. This is a master piece. The flow in the drawing is exceptional, colours are so subtle and synonymous and nature is moving. Her eyes, hands the anatomy is shockingly great as will. Thank god the colours are not so vibrant. Bravo! Brilliant work.

I can hardly express how much I love this. It embodies much of what I am striving for in my own art - and what I admire in the work of others. I particularly like glass-like look of the water, and the art nouveau inspiration. Beautiful!
