This is going to be the cover to my art book that I will be selling at this years Anime Expo. The book will be $10 and have a lot of new art as well as some favorite pieces. Make sure to look for me in the Artist Alley if you are going the the expo and say hi!!Related content

omg this is soo clean and neat! why does everybodies pencilled art looks soo pretty!! and mine looks like a 3 year old doodle.. if i dont ink it it looks ... awfull to say the least.. whats the secret?

Thanks! I usually do a rough sketch very lightly until I like the way it looks then literally roll a kneaded eraser over the sketch to pick up most of the graphite so that only a ghost image is left. Then I go over that slowly with the darkest lines and try to keep it as clean as I can. After that I will usually mess with levels and stuff in photoshop to get rid of the scratchy lighter lines after it has been scanned. Hope that helps!

yup just a bit. I try not to do that too much especially with commissions. Plus I just like clean pencil drawings.
