Well, the Mario fandom isn`t a pocket of sunshine either. It also shares character and shipping wars (between Peach and Daisy), unoriginal recolors, incest pairings, mariofags, etc. I`m not a Sonic fan nor defending Sonic, I just needed to say Mario`s fanbase isn`t perfect either :I

Well keep in mind, this was made years ago. Nowadays I have a better understanding that Mario's (and Nintendo's in general) fanbase isn't particularly better itself. As said for most fandom in general.
