What have we here?whatever it was, we seem to be rather amused by it. except for xaldin, who's never amused by anything.
Photo taken by with some slight light/contrast edit on my part. this was during the photoshoot with IndieNate, outside the con center, at the church thing across the street

Nice. I never really see like amazing cosplay anymore and Larxene's hair looks so real. Have you guys ever gone to Dragoncon in Atlanta? If you haven't you should really try to go some time.

Xigbar and Xaldin did buy theirs online, i believe from a halloween shop (though i can't remember for the life of me which one) mine i bought from sears on sale because they actually had the correct shape for larxene XP we three have boottops that i made about 2 years ago, which velcro into the top of the boots for the distinct shape and white border. i'm not sure where Pezzidge got her boots, but she has a full boot sleeve that she pulls on, which has the correct top shape, and also serves to hide zipper and ties.

Who's boots? I'm assuming you mean mine, since they are the only ones visable in the picture. The others will have to speak for themselves.
My boots are a combination of store bought boots, and hand-made. Because I am somewhat shorter than the rest of the peeps in this picture, I bought 4" platforms to make me 5'9". Just simple, no-lace, all-black boots. From there I made boot covers from black vinyl and cut the top to the correct shape. Colored it with silver sharpie, and wa-la. Organization-style boots!

...I have GOT to find a place that sells workable boots...the only ones I have are obviously feminine, bearing three to four inch heels, and it seems I can never find just plain, near-knee-length black flat-soled boots wherever I go...

hehe actually i'm convinced that Larxene actually isn't "allergic" to water in that way.... yes, in the manga she is disposed of with water, but there's also the fact that she was hyper-charged with lightning because Donald had the bright idea to inundate her with lightning magic, which she soaked up like a sponge. being so full of that power, and then being forced into water is sort of a backwards compatibility to certain tortures where the person is soaked in water and then touched with live wires.
XP i think about this stuff too much, by the way ^.^;

aye you should, i think kh fan sites sometimes post the scans from the manga, (khinider.com used to have them, but going back and trying to find them, it seems they've been taken down... DX)

i work for Toys'R'Us, and a couple months ago my store was closed for a remodel, so xigbar and i decided to make the most of it and transfer to a store a few states away, you know, get a change of scenery, hang out with people we rarely get to see, and still be able to make money.
lol and unfortunately, i don't have any of those programs anymore... recently had to wipe my harddrive ^.^;
