Nope.
Though Ton-chan lives in where Tone sunk (and Tsukasa in where Oyodo sunk), they are different persons in a different world.
One of the reasons is that now those names like Tone, Kongo or Oyodo are quite famous as characters in "Kantai Collection" game.
Another reason is that the original author of Oyodo and the gangs still sticks to it after those names were completely overwritten by the game.
It was a sad accident, but expected. He should forget them, so I never draw Tone nor Oyodo again (besides, I have my own interest than them).

I never knew those characters weren't yours.
And that they were based on battleships too...

Seems like the Japanese really like battleship girls.  XD

Too bad, Tone was super cute. I loved her hair and big glasses. <3
