Description

I have mostly focused on realism with my horse drawings for a few years (not that it could never have been one of my main goals), and now I feel like I've almost forgotten how to stylize. That's alarming. And while this thing was drawn in 2021, the pandemic time is still more or less "current" to me, if I think through my drawings. Some older works don't feel old at all.

Anyway, this one is meant to be some kind of show horse caricature, of the arabian breed. He has scars around his head to show that there may have been some issues with the show halter or something... A rough-handed handler? I probably added the scars to make some more details and a little story instead of doing the same weird horses I always do. (That indicates I need to start drawing something new.)

Graphite and blending tools on sketchbook paper, maybe A5 (drawn on a half of A4 if I remember correctly). I edited some unnecessary mess off.
