I usually pronounce it like "Mon-O-me" or you can pronounce it "Mon-A-me" x3 
It is difficult to say, but it means "my friend" in French.

Yup! She's only seen very few humans at this point of time, and never one with the appearance of Bane So she's a bit scared/nervous based on his appearance. 

Hehe, thank you!! I wanted him to have that 'Australian'/hunter look. I used Crocodile Dundee as inspiration for him, as well as Cat Bane from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. (And, of course, the name was inspired from Cat Bane, too XD )

Haha, true!! xD Especially for a Volatikai, as he is a Volatikai hunter. 

I suppose so!! Though, I steered away from using Steve Irwin as inspiration for him as the handler is not following the same morals as Steve Irwin (I've a lot of admiration and respect for Steveo ;w; and none for this character, so I didn't want any similarities between them.) Which is why I went for more of a Crocodile Dundee look for the handler. 
Hahah, well, I'm a big Star Wars fan and I'd been watching that series while working on this, so influences!!

I've been a fan of SW since my childhood, but I've not been able to see the entire series of the cartoon Star Wars: The Clone Wars since it's release, minus a few episodes here and there. 
So, I had bought the series, and still didn't get around to watching it until the recent weeks upcoming to this recent Christmas  
Cat Bane is a bounty hunter character in this specific series, and he's pretty cool! One of my favorite characters from the show.

Yeah, he's a cool cat obviously a 'bad guy' in the show, but he's got a lot of appearances and is an awesome character. 
So, I really wanted to use his inspiration for the handler in this drawing
