Why?
I wanted a bad "guy" for Blackfire, Starfire and Nightstar to fight against. I also wanted her to be Tamearanean. So I came up with Solarstar. My inspiration for her came from Blackfire. Blackfire is in the comics the bad one, but I liked her so much that I decided to make her in this little universe good.

She was an army commander of Tamaran, she wanted more power so she wanted the throne. They found out about her conspiracy against the throne and banned her. When she found out Tamaran was invated and that Blackfire and Starfire where on Earth she wanted revenge. No better way to get revenge on the King that banned you, by trying to kill his daughters.
