I have very tender delicate feelings about the emotionally-damaged wreckage that is the Holmes brothers and their relationship. I soothe these feelings by imagining them being utterly inseparable in their youth, before whatever drove Sherlock to hate Mycroft happened.

I'm also impressed with the subtle colour palette you use, red-brown vs green-grey. Very harmonious, IMO.

Oh but this is so sweet and so strangely canon! I totally imagine baby Sherlock run everywhere like "Mycroft! Mycrooooft! I'm boreeeed! please can you tell me a story? No-Can I tell you strories?" and Mycroft Β "okaaaaai, juste come here You little stupid thing.' 'I'm not stupid! Awww. This is so sweet. Being the elder of my sister and myself, I know the importance of having a good relationship with your younger sibling, or at least attempting to. Then again, there's less of an age difference between her and me than there is between Mycroft and Sherlock.
P.S. Funny thing. In pairs of brothers, I usually go for the elder of them, leaving the younger one for my sister to obsess over, but in the case of Sherlock and Mycroft, and also in the case of Thor and Loki in the Thor movies, I, as well as my sister, are both drawn more so to the younger sibling.
