Description Dark Ace from Storm Hawks!


Okay, for starters, his face was fun to draw. As was his hair. The talons emblem was fun. Then from there it got weird and I was venturing into areas I haven't really worked with before...namely any type of armor. There's plenty wrong with it, and I'm probably way off on certain parts of his design, but you know what...I had fun anyway!

This time I used a "draw it all on one layer in grayscale, then throw on color afterwards" technique. The color layer includes the background. And that's that.
