Well, you've already used complimentaries, so I would use a darker green for the stems and . . . hmmm . . . something that won't overpower the red wings . . . nothing really bright. I wouldn't use purple either, (on the flowers, anyway, maybe for the butterfly)

i wouldn't color the flowers... but it's only my opinion.. i always preferred monochrome tattoos

Great piece! I love the birds. I think that yellows and oranges would really make a nice contrast and bring the bird out. Maybe do some soft watered grey with the cloud effect in the background to make the colors look even brighter. Love it!

um a type of purple to offset the color of the bird. warm on cold colors ^.^

May I offer a suggestion?
I think either a light plum or lavendar or a light dusky rose. Something soft & slightly pastel to keep the bird's bright plummage the main focal point. & then for the leaves, a moss green or a blue-green that doesn't blend in with the birds bright green chest.

try blues shades on the bottom to purples to reds at the top hows thats
