Description
Cup morel, or bleach cup (Disciotis venosa). Despite its appearance, it is most closely related to the true morels. A protected species in Hungary due to rarity. This fungus was on my bucket list for sometime, I am happy I managed to find it. Of course, its near my homeplace in quite a big numbers after the recent rains.Hungary, 2023.03.30.
