dwarf earthstar (Geastrum granulosum)It was formerly known as G. minimum, but scientists discovered it is actually several different species, one of them which is the Geastrum dolomiticum. They are mainly distinguished by the shape of the calcium-oxalate crystals found on the surface of the mushoom.
