Otto then cut her bounds and undid the binding spell, leading her past the traps out of the tower. At the base of the prison, the gorgon enchantress and human knight came to an understanding, they both needed answers, and wanted to learn about the other.

He gave his oath, and she promised not to petrify him. A strange traveling party to be sure, but the pair made camp, and prepared to find Thais more suitable garb for their coming adventure.
