“I was out in the fields when It came. A hole, just like the ones folk have been talking about ripped open in the sky. Horrors poured out of it, like a flash-flood over the hillside. They raced across the land, befouling it with their presence, and attacking anything that moved. The unholy ravagers were nothing to what emerged from the void next.

In size it easily would outstrip the tallest of castles in the world, and stepped over great hills, as if they were pebbles on a stone path. The air around it became fetid and lifeless, and the smell of decay exuded from the beast. It was a mobile, mountain of skulls that screeched in endless tones and tongues, whispering profanities, and screaming blasphemies as it stole the vitality from our world, and breath from our bodies. It crushed the homes of our people, and the hope for our future, it was a truly horrible sight to behold.“
