For as long as I can remember I’ve really felt close to this myth.
I don’t know why, it’s not my favorite by any means, and I usually end up angry after reading it. The change, the untouchable judgment and a violent death. It really sucks to be Actaeon.

Ovid’s metamorphoses are fantastic, and if you haven’t read them in a single volume- you should. The retellings are not as powerful as Ovid’s words, even if they’re garbled through translation and interpretation.
