I'll put this in scraps shortly, it's an older one, and I'm not satisified with it, for more than one reason, eventually I'll finish an image of him that I like. Till then- blahHarmakhis is (c) to me.

If he's based on the Egyptian god Harmakhis, are you planning to make him a lion-ram hybrid? Because Harmakhis is sometimes linked to Horus, falcon elements would also be appropriate.

I'm following the Heliopolis and Luxor mythos here, in that canon Harmakhis' original conception in the old kingdom is the sphinx-deity. It's not the character design. It's posing more than anything.

Why not use an Egyptian-style pose then?
"For two-dimensional art, the Egyptians did not attempt to create the illusion of depth. Thus, the head may be shown in profile, though with a full view of the eyebrow and eye set into it. The shoulders are shown frontally, while the waist, buttocks, and limbs are in profile.
