Appearance: Tall, extremely muscular, he is his human part is green haired and bearded and is nude save for his gauntlets resized from when he was fully human. He has pointed ears, shaped like a horses, and the tips are covered in horse hair. His equine parts are dark brown, both forelegs have white socks, and above all four ankles and hooves is a tuft of green hair. His tail is also dark brown ending in green hair. On is waist he wears a pelt of a forest lion he killed five years ago.

Religion: not really religious, (Baptized Christian)

Likes: Working out, his 'sentence' being up, his big 'ol sword, hunting, being faster now, talking with the treefolk.

Dislikes: Hemlokina, being ambushed by large felines (he has a scratch on his left foreleg from the big lioness he killed a year ago), having four legs.

Nicknames: Horse-boy and Veg

Personality: Rough around the edges, he doesn't try to welcome everyone he meets as a friend; one has to truly have to prove their worth to him. He is a quick wit and at times stubborn, he can get himself out of a lot fixes simply by talking his way out.

History: Vegar began life as an ordinary human, born to a family of esteemed bankers, he was selected at age six for a knight apprenticeship, and for the next thirteen years he was studying to become a knight under Sir Alexandrios, at Castle Nataraja. His life was physically demanding and creatively limited, but nonetheless he was at peace and rather content with where things were headed.

But (as with all of my characters), it did not last. The eve of his twentieth birthday should have heralded the morn with pomp and circumstance as he prepared to ascend to knighthood; instead the night shook with screams. A giant Cyclops seemingly from out of nowhere scaled the cliff and broke down the castle wall, and by the time it was finally put down the castle was in ruins. Many of the civilians fled, leaving the armed forces to subdue the creature, but the death toll was appalling. As the flames died down, and the dead was counted and buried away from the castle, Vegar had been lost during the battle and presumed dead.

He woke up later, beneath a massive pile of rubble that had broken from the stables. A horse had saved Vegar, but the two had been trapped in a landslide that triggered when a tower was brought down over their heads. When he woke up, he saw trees climb over the ashes of the massive Cyclopes, and feeling he site was cursed, he mounted the horse and rode into the forest. There he crashed into a tree in the shape of a woman, which introduced herself as Hemlokina, she was insulted that he had carelessly ridden into her, and also explained she turned a boy who wanted to be bigger and stronger into that Cyclops that had just destroyed the castle.

She threatened to turn him into a tree, but when he confronted her with her culpability in a massacre, she gave him the alternative of guarding the forest for a hundred years. He haggled down to fifty years, and he promised to help sow seeds to expand the forest and cover the castle. He agreed, but afterwards she threw a curveball at him, fusing him with his horse to make a centaur, which she decided was more fitting for his new job.

Seven years into his sentence Vegar saved Hemlokina from a lion trying to uproot her, and she shortened his sentence to five years. After the time was over, she opened the borders of her lands, but after realizing she had no way to turn him back to normal, he remained n the castle ruins as guardian of the forest, searching for others of his kind.
Relations: Mother Anastasia, father Urik, and younger brother Ubandil who has not seen in twenty-seven years, and a sister born after he left, named Annette.

Faults: His gruffness makes him somewhat unapproachable, and his current fixation on his form makes him unwilling to seek out humans or let alone his family.

Power/ Forms: As far as I know this is his only form, a centaur. He has no magical abilities, other than extreme longevity, making him an average male centaur.

Weapons: One incredibly large piece of thin galvanized steel, bound by strong vines fused and etched by Hemlokina for self-defense and hunting purposes.

---- So new character, he’s basically a centaur, with some Norwegian names. I left a colored background out, I had to do this on sketchbook paper, and I didn’t want to waste all the time putting on in.
