Why I'm a Dominant/Domme:

Many wonder why someone would choose the BDSM lifestyle. Why some people would choose to allow someone else control over them, why others would want to control someone else. I don't know about the submissives, why they choose what they do. Some say it has to do with needing to release control to someone else, to give it all to someone. I've heard some say they like the safety of someone looking out for them.

Being a Domme though? I know I why I am that way. I know why I choose it.

1. My personality is naturally a dominant one. I just follow through as I am.
2. I like to be in control of the situations. It helps to keep me calm.
3. The true “boss” is the sub. It's up to them what they can take and what they can't take. My job? To make sure their trip into subspace is a good one, a guided one.
4. I love knowing that the calm and peace I bring to the sub(s) I domme for is welcomed, needed.
5. I love that the lifestyle offers a far more intimate side to sex than most normal “vanilla” sex does. BDSM, to work properly, needs communication and openness. Something that lacks in most relationships.
6. It offers stability for me, brings me in my own sort of “domme space”.
7. I can learn more about myself and that of others through the scenes.
