For many years of fighting and trying to escape from his prison, Abaddon gave up. Guilt washed over his body and mind. He was angry at himself for not staying away from the war, angry for falling for Lucifier's plan and lie and angry for betraying his own brothen.
And for the first time in his life, he did something that no other fallen angel did.

He asked God for forgiveness.
And God got his message.

He/she/it now has a mission for Abaddon. It seems that over the years, the spirit world is overcrowded with the souls of the dead and someone needs to balance it by sending them to Heaven, Hell or Puratory. Abaddon accept it and became the first grim reaper.
