Melly's Bikini Series, as requested by Nazor.The Aladdin TV series is one that I have a hard time finding, but some of the stories seem to be more interesting than those of the TLM TV series by Disney.
Saleen is among those unique characters. She is a water demon who wants Aladdin all to herself, imprisoning Jasmine inside of a watery chamber. Physically, her character is very unique- I've never seen a mermaid with... um... udders? Is that the right term? Her character is also very selfish, despite her powers.
All great things for a villian, even though she has little recourse from the Genie.
Saleen is copywrited by Disney, lineart by Melly.

She's one of my favorite Aladdin bad guys; mostly because her name sounds like 'Celine' which is my sisters' name.

Indeed. I loved the "Aladdin" show, but most of its villains were either whiny, creepy, or just plain annoying.

Great pic! BTW, I honestly could never get into Disney's Little Mermaid show. I always found it boring. The only interesting characters were Evil Manta & that witch... thing in Red (And I gave up trying to watch it after I saw the first ep with Evil Manta, where he got beaten by a song). Saban's series was much better, though admittedly not as good as the first Disney movie. Anyways, Aladdin, aside from being my favorite Disney movie, was undeniably one of the best series. It's a shame how quickly it's dismissed as a cheap cash-in when it had more heart than some original things I could name, having good stories & tons of great characters like Saleen here. It would play in my ideal Disney Afternoon lineup, along with Gummi Bears, Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers & Gargoyles.

I always liked TLM's series, but Saban's had the better storylines.
But though TLM will always be my favorite mermaid movie, it's a tough sell to say that it's better than Saban's series, if only because it was a feature film and not a mini-series or anything.
Aladdin as a series did have some kick-ass episodes. The writers really came into their own at that point.
Gummi Bears too was really underrated back in the day, as was Chip & Dale and even Darkwing Duck to a lesser extent.

I enjoyed the character Saleen sO friggin much! What was even cooler was that she claimed to know Ariel..LOL

She's very classic-mermaid-personality (kinda like Ariel's sister Adella

I had that "It's Elemental my dear Jasmine" episode on VHS. And when that mermaid reappeared in another episode where she turned Aladdin into a shark, the closed captioning spelled her name "Selene" instead of Saleen.

I've seen it on Toon Disney a few times. As for the CC, well; nobody's perfect.

Great job! Looks just like her, and the pose seems in character too. I didn't really like her in the series but she's an interesting villain.
