Description As you may have already heard, I'm a fan of the new show that Disney put out called Gravity Falls. It's easily my favorite made-for-kids show that I've seen in probably a decade, and it's one large fandom that I have no problem with seeing often on DA's pages (only time will tell if that mood can continue ). Give it a watch, as it's the right balance of cute and quirky that can be so hard to pull off nowadays (without blatantly pandering to either immature level, be it the really small kids or the manchildren that think ALL shows should be directed by Seth McFarlane).

I have drawn Mabel before for my top 100 cartoons list earlier, but it was hard leaving both Dipper and Grunkle Stan out of the list, since I really enjoy both of them as well. Consider all three to be in my top 125! If you're unfamiliar, it's (LtR) Mabel, Grunkle Stan and Dipper. Consider it a family portrait! I was surprised how compatible their style was to blend with mine! Fun times all around!

And for those worrying/hoping for more, I think this will do for my fanart of them unless I really get some fun/funny ideas. If you DO want more, you know where to go for commissions!.... No, wait! Don't leave! I meant me!

I watched some episodes yesterday and I have to say that the series is amazing The characters are great, the plot is enjoyable and the jokes are surprisingly funny My favourite character is Grunkle Stan, by the way

Awesome! Grunkle Stan gets the short end of the popularity stick due to his age I think, but he's just as funny (if not the most groundedly funny, if that's a description) as the main 2 kids! I'm happy to hear a new fan's been found with this show!

I caught the sneak preview and as many episodes as I could this past summer. This show has a bright future ahead of it.

It's a fun show! It all depends on one's perception of humor to really like the show initially. Its style isn't for everyone, but it's worth a try at least! Thanks for the comment!

I haven't seen this show, but every time I see the commercials, it's art style reminds me of an older cartoon, and I can't pinpoint which one. Great character interpretations though!

I think it's the bug eyes, a cartoon staple. The mouths are very 30s-retro inspired too, like what I've been using with my 30s toons this year! Either way, I like this cartoon style mishmash as well as the humor and mystery put into this show, so I'd recommend at least an episode or two to try it out! Thanks for the comment either way!

If I recall right for tv purposes, the new episodes are on Friday nights, and I'm unsure about reruns.

I started loving this show after the first episode. I will go as far as to say it's better than anything I grew up with. Your style fits well with them, it's almost uncanny.

I really liked the show after seeing two episodes, and then really got into it after seeing all the fantastic ways the show adds both mystery and conspiracies to the fun comedy on the surface. I'd definitely say it's one of the most intriguing ever, and with another season or two, it just may very well become a top 10 or even 5 show.

That's one thing that drew me in. I like the locations to have just as much character as the characters, and Gravity Falls is a town rich in intrigue. Hopefully it'll last and not become too popular where you see it everywhere.

If you can take the oft-silly humor, there's actually a really surprising amount of depth to the story. A hack of a lot more than the average, ahem, "mature" cartoon shows out there. Thanks for the comment!
