That's really nice! I'm really struggling with the first "steps" of animation and I was wondering if you could give me any tips on walk cycles? It would be greatly appreciated. <3

I'm probably not the best person to ask since I'm just starting out myself, but I'll do my best. I think your best friend would be as many frame by frame references as you can find of whatever it is you want to animate. Dont start too detailed when you're beginning your animation, this one started out with a ball for the head, a slightly curved oval for the body, and lines so that I could map out the legs before filling them out (the lines are easy to lose track of, i mess them up so much x'D )And when you're starting out dont be too rough on yourself if it doesn't turn out perfect, because you'll get better the more you practice. And if you havent practiced the basics of animating, dont be like me and jump right into walkcycles, start with the basics and you'll get there just by building the basic foundations, unless you want to, then that's up to you x'D
Walkcycles are hard because there are a lot of pieces you have to get right or else some parts will look stiff or too floppy. But just keep practicing and you'll get there. I struggle a lot with getting things to look right in my animation.
I'm sorry I'm sort of all over the place, so if you have more questions I can try to answer them, but I fell like tutorials and step by steps would be a lot better at explaining this than I would since I'm beginner myself.
Good luck though! I'm sure you'll do great, just keep trying and practicing!
