Description A picture of strange rock structures I found in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. I'm not sure what created them, but as far as I know they are natural. Whatever they are, I found them extremely beautiful and incredibly alien. I felt like I was seeing something artificially created by an alien race or a city created by intelligent insects.

This caused by flowing/lapping water.. About 10M years ago when the SW was under water,,, the land mass started to rise because the earth quakes started pushing everything up.. This is a product of "Plate tectonics"..
