AgentMidnight — More MF2 Boss Sprites

Description Here are some sprites I made for 3 more of the boss classes in my ever-developing Mega-Fortress Game Idea. Engy Man would use his power cord as sort of an electric whip, and Pyro Man could use his hadouken. I just recently made the Soldier sprite, so I haven't really figured out what weapon I'm going to give him yet. I'm leaning towards the shovel, haha

All characters and idea belong to Valve and Capcom

They were in Megaman 1....

Heh, try to implement the Backburner. That'd be a mean way to defeat the player: as they run away.

I've actually decided to make the soldier's weapon be his rocket jumping ability. I'll have more sprites uploaded soon.

If he's only jumping around, he'll be easier to beat than Bombman. I was talking about the fight against the guy, right?

Its still very rough/beta. But the plan would be:

1. Rockets jumps from his current position, gets ridiculous air time
2. While midair, throws down more rockets
3. Lands on other side
4. Launches one rocket horizontally
5. Repeat.

Who knows, he could be really easy, or not, I wont know until I start coding it all. Hopefully it will be fun above everything else

Soldier Man confirmed for rocket jumping. In fact, I've been thinking that it should be the weapon you get from defeating him. I thought about having some sort of sentry weapon for the Engy boss, but I thought it didn't really fit as a "shootable" weapon for Scoutman to get. I'm planning on making the sentries a series of "Sub-bosses"

Does that mean it will hurt you to use it?

Also I think the Sentry could work just as well as the Items/rush abilities did in the megaman games.

The rocket jump will be like rush coil. It blasts you upwards, and makes an explosion that hurts enemies on the ground, but doesnt hurt you. Still toying with ideas

If you've played Rockman and Forte, the Copy Vision you get for beating Astro man could work for Engy Man's weapon, if you're going with the sentry idea.

Essentially just places a sentry down that shoots straight ahead of it and absorbs damage from projectiles until it vanishes.
