Yeah flowers can be pretty tricky

Looking at references while drawing them is a good idea
When you get used to their basic form then they're not as intimidating anymore

That works with a lot of things!

I completely agree. I've noticed that too. When draw enough of one thing, over and over, it gets easier to draw. 

That must be true because you're an ace and drawing the lovable SPG crew and their designs aren't exactly a walk in the park to draw.
