Considering for example the new law in france, that prohibits the muslim women from having a scarf around their head, this image is really talking to me - this is great!

The people are really against a wall there, and looking up at the legistlators like you here. The lightning, the gesture with your hands and the scary look on your eyes follows the same idea too..

I like this. Bring this up again

thanks very much but scary look is accidental if you consider that

mh interesting: I don't likt B&W too much so maybe here I'll be a bit over-critic (if so: just ingore me!):
- I would have tried to avoid the shadow on the wall, maybe staying a bit further from the wall would have helped
- I would have removed the watch on the right hand: it distracts from the main subject
- the kerchief (whatevere does it mean....) has somewhat too small drawings and makes the picture over-complex: but this is probably due to my view of B&W, which leads me to think that they should be a bit more essential
- again on the wall: maybe too bright, it too distracts from the main subject

on the rest I must say I like this shot as it focuses people on your eyes and right after leads to look up right where you're looking at

also: how do you manage to make such a complex shot by yourself? do you use timed-shooting or have a friend?
I got frustrated from self-shooting because of how many out-of the scene shots I got ! (grrrr!)

thank you for all words

i have no experience with taking photos of ppl and i have to practice it more

I use timed-shooting Friends maybe would be useful if they are photographers. I don't have such ppl in my area

But i am going to practise i've got a friend who wants to be my model. Poor man, he doesn't know what is going to happen to him

I don't think you should move it to scraps.
Its a beautiful picture. I love the b&w and the models expression. I like how she covers her face.

to, ze wpadl do glowy mozna powiedziec, ze jednak jakis pomysl byl - a sporo byl, w jakis sposob musialas wstepnie go przemyslec... wiele osob robi zdjecia bardzo spontanicznie nie zastanawiajac sie ani sekundy nad kadrem.

i like the lighting. composition is not too bad, i think more can be developed with the idea of playing with the handkerchief. (:

Hmmm... not too bad... but I thing it would create a stronger effect if you hold the kershief straight just bellow your eyes, raise the camera a bit to balance the composition or eventually using a portrait orientation. The brightness/contrast is ok!
