Somehow the movie the mask of Zorro flashes in my mind when they dance in it, but... anyway...
I like their expressions and how their mood is in their movement. Also I absolutely love that dress and gate! And when I think of it... I can't actually find anything I don't like.... *is just amazed by the art*

Wonderful picture! Appealing and emotional. It really does awaken a lot of associations and memories n_n;; And that, is the trait of an extremely inspiring picture ^^
I love how the characters in your picture enhance the overall feeling of movement. How the woman's skirt flows, and how her chavalier (sp?) is already taking his next step in the dance. Their anatomy is nothing short of amazing. Every muscle is in place, and they seem to cooperate just to create this vivid and energic dance, a dance of passion.
This is represented in their faces, smiling at each other, seemingly seeing nothing than what's ahead of them. This, is also enhanced by the atmoshepre of the painting, with its vivid red, orange and yellow colors, skillfully blended together with somewhat colder colors such as blue and purple. To me, they symbolize the heat of the day, how they are stronger by the end of the day, when the darkness and calm of the night is stealing a few precious minutes from the dancing couple. They are still dancing in the sunset, oblivious to that the colder night has come. Seeing nothing but each other ^^
