What cemetery was this in? Do you happen to remember the family name on it?

It was in a cemetary in Budapest, Hungary, and no, I don't remember the family name.

It's the one on Street Fiumei in Budapest, I don't know if it has a particular name or not.

Is it okay if I do an oil pastel of this? I like this statue a lot.

Beautiful. I had no idea the original was in Rome.

That's so beautiful... does it have a story, that statue?

I don't think it has a story. It's just a sculpture on a grave.

That's very moving, and most unusual; I've never sen any thing like it.

Most statues in this cemetary are dirt- and moss-covered.

We have one almost the same at a graveyard near me. Lovely image - the border is a bit much though.

Beautiful composition! The bare trees in the background work well; they add to the gloominess of the picture.

wow, that sculpture was done by someone who know's their stuff.... captures the emotions of sadness and dispare perfectly... the angle where you took the photo also shows it well, keep it up!

Thanks. First my photo teacher suggested another angle that shows the angel's face, but I didn't like his/her face, and I thought that showing his/her hair only would be better. And perhaps this angle shows more of his/her pain. My mum too liked this angle better than the one that shows the angel's face.

I love the way the sculpture shows despair and grief in this fallen angel.
