I absolutely love her expression. She seems sad with herself, and wants to show her true self to everyone, and show what she's made of. The colors are fantastic and show how this character is feeling right at the moment. The way the blue and purple mix together is pure balance, with a little hint of black from what I see. Just love the way her hair flows while she grabs hold of it, amazing motion as well. And I don't know if it's just me, but her eye is filled with tears. I'm speechless, really I am. This watercolor painting is very emotion and takes the words out of my mouth. All I can do is observe and be awed by such a deep painting.

Awesome masterpiece! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/>

hmm...This artwork required an extra 10 minutes of observation on my behalf, (thank you for requesting my critique by the way, I enjoy writting them for you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> )
The emotion of the character is completely different in this painting as opposed to the emotion the previous painting I viewed.
In this painting I understood the character as assertive because there is a direct expression of emotion (purposely showing something)
This is a completly new and controversial side that hasn't been seen before (a new personality) and you've given the character a body which adds to the escence of spontaneity.
I like the fact that you maintained the colour mattern as though you're expressing "it is the same but different all the same".
Her eyes have become fierce whereas before they seemed to represent deeper emotions fo sadness.
The action of pulling the hair away is equivelent to revealing oneself so by painting this I understood the character is starting to reveal themself.
I also noticed the mouth (another new implementation, refers back to new pieces of the puzzle that I haven't seen before).
My favourite part of the painting was how strong the impression that it left on me was/is. The character has developed from what can be described as delicate to powerful.

There is so much new in this painting, like all your other artwork it tells a story, and this picture has progressed the tale, we have gotten to know a new side of the character and this persona's artiste never fails to surprise me. I await your next piece.

Completely perfect and when I do not say at this world's perfection it is at your own perfectyion your emotions and feelings even life is reflected in this kind of paints this expression of.....color of life is what it is......it has life, and the meaning is unknown because it is a real piece of art, art has no meaning, we say our point of view or our meaning of the paint or the art work, and my meaning is something fresh and bright with no worries, most of your works represent that, and probably you do express what you feel, no worries, something fresh and new, peace also...very very beautiful work...thanks for reading.

Okay, let's try this critique thingie e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
I'll do this because I think the art is stunning and pretty to the max!
Things I love about this painting:
-The little blob of purple on her right arm, as I think it ads some extra dimension to the pic ^^
-Her eyes, both looking amazing. The one hid behind her hair is barely visible, but yet you get the feeling that there's an entire realistic eye underneath it.
-The combination of colors is really cool. I think he way the blue and purple blend together so nicely with red and yellow is just stunning.
The way that you created the lines in her hair is really skillfull -I think-.
I can think of a whole story behind this awesome hair, so impact is very good~
Not sure if it's entirely original, but I've never seen something really similar
Great work, love it<3 I would love to have her hair e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="XD"/>

I simply love this artwork. i also have long hair so i can relate to the flowing lines and playing with my hair. The colours blend beautifully and flow with the strands of the hair. Great use of the mixed medium. The small details of outline in the body really help to tell you what is actually going on which i really appreciate. The detail in the eye then just adds that overall POP that makes the artwork come alive and adds the element of realism to the fantasy. Very dynamic , canvas used well and the fact that you didn't overwork it(which is one of your traits i know) keeps the idea of fantasy. The theme is carried out strongly . The artwork is simplistic in a sense that it emphasizes the potency of the theme. You very successfully say so much with what looks like very little, but i do know how much work and planning could easily go into a watercolour because you cant remove anything and it seems to do what it wants to do. I can really appreciate this artwork because it impacts so powerfully , even more so because of my personal association .

Only recently have I began to use watercolor, and OH DEAR LORD, I cannot emphasize how much this impresses me. The way you managed to make her hair look so realistic and yet so ethereal and colorful with watercolor which most of the time seems to have its own will is really impressive. I love her eyes, the colors used and the simple yet dynamic pose of the arms. This should be in a museum!!!

Dear Deviant,

Β

I have Favourited your deviation because I sincerely think it is worthy of such a title. If you are wondering why this message is so formal-sounding and impersonal in nature, it's because as a past non-DA user, I have been keeping all my favourite Deviations bookmarked in my browser for a couple of years, and I am finally uploading all those deviations unto my current DA profile! So while it is impractical for me to lay down a thoughtful comment for all these collected Deviations at this time, I want you to know that when I first came across your piece, it did (and still does) deserve a note of appreciation. I apologize for not being able to share individual comments at this time: your Deviation deserves it in my opinion!

Β

Thanks for reading,

DaniBeez

Your colours are wonderful - I'm so jealous of artists who can use water colours. The composition is good and your lines are so delicate. I love the striking effect of the yellow and red with the purple and blue - they bring out the best in the colours.Β

I recognized your work and thought you should know, I sent the school an e-mail telling them to credit you but i doubt they will. this school steals work, students, ideas, and art from other schools in the area. there lies are disgusting.
