This piece has absolute character that seems to control the emotional balance and power that is circulating and engulfing this scene of lovely sorrow and contentment in this gothic and enchanting work of art. The artist seems to capture the certain electric intensity that surrounds this couple’s gaze that you can all but hear and feel.
I personally am in love with the diminishing hope and how the title though not through view or perception how it completely works with the feel of this artwork as if to subtly complement it in a way that you can’t see but it collides with you and you can feel it.
The vibrancy of the blood red leaves me marvelling and reeling.
I feel exceptionally honored to have been allowed to appraise this simple masterpiece [yes, I said masterpiece] and have high hopes that you will continue expressing your discernment of art and the mysterious confusion to longing…

Well… that’s what I opinion on it anyway ☺

This piece I have to say is quite amazing. I love the way you have created a [should I say] disappearing effect on the male whilst having the female beside him with a vibrant red hair. From this personally I feel a depressed feeling as if losing a loved one and it also creates and confused feeling.
The title Glorious wounds relates to this very much, though nor showing any wounds give the feeling of hurt and pain in the art.
How ever I also feel that some else is needed in this but that is besides the point.
I hope you find this a fair Critique.

come to life. this is a beautiful painting. In fact I can not call it a painting, it is an expression. A call out. I found it simply breathtaking in a way that even I dont understand. it possibly has to fo with the fact that I dont look for things that i understand yet this seems to understand me. Now correct me if i am wrong but the red haired women is you. and you want the mystery man to come alive even though he might not even exist and you do. Like I said before, it is simply breathtaking and i hope that one day i can be as good as this. Thank you.

I have the first pages of a draft. Maybe in a while will be a book. The main character is sometimes called 'amorphous'.
This could be a simple and beautiful cover for it.
Love the image, love the concept, love it at all. <3

aha you guys analyse things too much the red hair is clearly her red hair! and yeah you could argue its the symbol of this and that and the wound etc, but i think its just her red hair defining her for who she is and the man she loves fading away from her and is different from how she is. i would love this on my wall. the girl i loved had fiery red hair, reminds me of her.

very romantic and wonderful. The use of that dash of color works perfectly, imo. I like the balance between the finely drawn parts and the expressionistic parts - well done!

I love the complexity of the man. This piece is absolutely beautiful! However, the woman is, in my opinion, a little too perfect for him.

This is a beautiful piece of art!
I am actually in love with this piece.
I love the way you made it seem that the man, is there, but is fading away from her.
The red hair is incredible, it's as if the name of the piece "glorious wounds" is actually her hair, and that the 'wound' is in her mind, so the red hair looks like the blood of the wound.
And the man is the cause of the wound - seems like she loves him.

There are no words to express how amazing the water colour brush techniques are!
This is amazing!!!
