I Love this painting, I am not a fan of abstract but love how the painting moves from a dark sad side to a colourful and happy side.
Staring at it I started to see more than one face, There seems to be an eye staring back at me and another sad face. Maybe the painting just makes people crazy if they look at it too long?. A painting should tell a story or invite the viewer to think and I enjoyed trying to imagine what the hidden face was like.
This work is different to your other work and showed a more aggressive use of paint that covered the eyes of your subject.
The overall impact is a painting that can be displayed with out having these eyes follow you around the room which can upset some people.

Is interesting, is different from what you always do or what I always see...
Is something difficult because is a abstract painting but well.
The form in that you mixed the colours is excellent, especially those mixed with black because the color isn't lost.
The texture of the paint is nice and with the more dark zones give a sensation of depth and 3D.
The ear in the painting gives sense to the painting, considering the title. Can have many interpretations depending with the person.
In my case, the ear listen noise but is a noise that it can't understand because are many things that perturb each other. [concrete things, and/or thinking]
Also I think [having a "child vision"] that one can fin several things like a blue bird face, a submarine, some spectra, a whale and... much more. Is strange I know.

To start, The Title of the piece fits it perfectly- and after having read the title, I said to myself "Oh. Yes, I can feel that."
I knew by looking at the ear, what it meant; and the colors as they are - so dark, so vibrant, and spilling into each other- That's how it feels to listen to somebody. Sometimes the other person pours out their heart to you. Without saying anything, we have a rush of emotions, words and pictures that fill our minds, as their voices fill our ears.
Sometimes it does become something of "emotion soup".
All made possible by these odd little organs filled with fluid and bone.
Your technique is excellent, balance is also good. Though not in-line with the rule of thirds exactly, the placement of the focal point doesn't bother me at all. I think my favorite part is the wispy hairs around the ear. Such a small detail, but I think it really gives the ear a sense of placement, when there is no face.

The combination of colors and the lack of sharp detail really draw a viewer in to this piece. it makes you want to look at it again and again to find any details you may have previously missed.
Breaking up the colors with the white gel pen is a brilliant idea and provides just a little extra touch of detail without being too much and therefore letting the viewers eyes sail across the piece to find the image that's blended in so flawlessly with the ocean of color that you always seem to so easily and masterfully manipulate
Absolutely stunning and another breathtaking piece from you as usual

"It's original ... The titles the concept of the painting...the technique is good u can see the outline of the ear and chin... I'm not that great with critiques lets just say it's a awesome painting. Somebody would pay a lot of money to have this hung up on their wall and be proud and say "it's a original" ...."-goldenlion1997 nkw my critique is too short...I was thinking u could do a mermaid with water color metallic and acrylic... Or a elf or something with rise of the guardians ...how to train your dragon or better than all Joseph King of Dreams because in the movie his coat had golden metallic...

It's a very nice work; Parfect color mixture. I like it becus it's realy touching and charming but i dont think that someone who is not an artist would understand exactly the message you are trying to pass. It's real but more of reality is needed; I can see the ear listing(parfect), but a sign to show that it's not saying anything( ?): That aspect is not clair. dont you think so? Make it speak clairly. You can do it. Yes you can. This is my critique for your wondaful work. All the same, it's a good work u gat here. Felisitation!!! I like it hhmmm

I am extremely inspired by literally all of your work. This piece is yet another blend of abstract beauty, colors, and chaos. This piece is especially interesting because of where the viewer's eye gets drawn to. The only clear part of this painting is the ear, yet that one ear lets you see the rest of the painting. Your use of different mediums is unbelieveable and so is your color palette. Every part of the painting is fascinating and I can't stop looking for more. You probably hate when people ask about symbolism in your art, but this is definitely a piece where people will be looking for messages. You inspire me so much, and I know I'm not the only one. I don't know if you did a speed drawing of this painting, but if you did I'd like to watch it. Your technique is amazing and I can't stop trying to use it in my work. Thank you for your amazing talent.
